Mr. Aaron H. Babb, 86, of Eastman, Ga. passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at his residence.Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at New Vision Ministries in Hawkinsville, Ga.A family service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at New Vision Ministries in Hawkinsville, Ga. with Rev. Jeff Thomas, Chris Poole and James Reaser officiating.Pallbearers will be Chip Miller, Christian Miller, Chase Studstill, Shawn Lewis, Aaron Shirley and Jonathan Rogers with Honorary Pallbearers being Adison Hensley, Noah Studstill, Cameron Mullis, Colton Taylor, Gabriel Horne, Jase and Jude Simmons and Carter Cannington.A public burial will be Monday, August 24, 2020 at 4 p.m. in Bowers Cemetery.
Mr. Babb was a native of Empire, Ga. and a member of New Vision Ministries formerly known as Babb Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.He was a retired Air Force Veteran having served in the Korean and Vietnam War.Aaron was a member of the V. F. W. and the Masonic Lodge of Hawkinsville, Ga.To know Aaron was to love him.He was gentle, kind and full of love.He was a Godly man that loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.He loved to spend his days with his grandchildren, friends, family and of course "His Baby" Jean.Aaron was a blessing to know and loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie and Nancy Babb, Son; Stephan Babb, and siblings; Ocala Bridges, Perry Babb, Jake Babb, Leroy Babb, Carlton Babb and James Eddie Babb.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Shirley Babb of Eastman, Ga., Son; Eric H. Babb (Jenny) of Montana; daughters, Michele B. Miller of Eastman, Ga., Yvonne Marguardt (Jim) of Salt Lake City, Utah; step-children, Terry Albert Shirley of Adel, Ga., Renee Cannington (Ray) of Lenox Ga., Robin Simmons Pescara (Gerry) of New York, Tracy Howell (Larry) of Eastman, Ga., sisters; Annie Mae Darsey of Hawkinsville, Ga., Betty Jean Laidler of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 7 grandchildren; Tia Studstill (Chase), Victoria Hensley (Eli), Christian Miller (Abby), Chip Miller (Savannah), Megan Marquardt (Shawn), Elisabeth Lewis (Ryan), Alexander Babb along with 5 great grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Rebecca Taylor (Aaron), Melvin Simmons (Jamie), Jase And Jude Simmons, Carter Cannington, Christopher Cannington (Brittani), Aaron Shirley, Crystal Jarvis (Cory), Serina Taylor (Nick), Sarah Shirley, Amy Mullis (Jason), Amber Horne along with 22 step-great grandchildren.
