Abram Delamar Clark, Sr.

Abram DeLamar Clark, Sr., age 74, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.

DeLamar was born in Macon, Georgia on December 11, 1948. He was a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Hawkinsville High School. Mr. Clark formerly served as a firefighter with the Pulaski County Fire Department and was a member of the United States Air Force Reserve at Robins Air Force Base. DeLamar was the retired owner of Concrete Products & Engineering in Hawkinsville, Georgia and member of the hospital board at Taylor Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Julian Clark, Jr. and Nora Belle Mixon Clark; mother and father-in-law, Frances Harper Wood Eubanks and Littell H. Wood; brother-in-law, William H. Wood and one grandson, Caleb Gage Nobles.

Those left to forever cherish his memory include his wife, Lillian Wood Clark of Hawkinsville, Georgia; son, Abram DeLamar Clark, Jr. of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughters, Nora Clark Register (Ralph) of Macon, Georgia and Lana Clark Phillips (Christopher “Douglas”) of Hawkinsville, Georgia; brother, Fred Julian Clark, III (Carol) of Hawkinsville, Georgia; brother-in-law, Samuel M. Lowrey of Rome, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Joan Faye Wood of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Louise Wood Lowrey of Rome, Georgia; grandchildren, Dale Register of Macon, Georgia, Benjamin Register of Fort Stewart, Georgia, Holden Nobles of Cochran, Georgia, Alyssa Clark of Fort Valley, Georgia and Lillian Clark of Fort Valley, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
