Mr. Alan Keith Carter, 55, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence.A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Hazlehurst, Ga. with Rev. Luke Watson officiating.
Mr. Carter was a native of Hazlehurst, Ga. and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.He was an electrician.Keith was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Carter; grandparents, Thelma and Robert Carter and Lilly Mae and Aaron Bart Hester.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Carter of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Daniel Carter (Ansley) of Yulee, Florida; grandchildren, Braxton Carter and Rylan Carter; Mother, Dannie Savant of Visalia, California; brother, Gerald Carter (Sandra) of Visalia, California; sisters, Sharon (Jeff) Pilkinton of Harrisburg, North Carolina; Angie Barrentine (David) of Cochran, Ga.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
