Mr. Morris was a native of Bibb County, Ga. and a member of Avondale Baptist Church.Al was a Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War and Owner /Operator of the Corner Market in Hawkinsville, Ga.He was preceded in death by his parents, James D. Morris and Blanche Hall Morris and a sister Elizabeth McElhenney.
Survivors include his wife; Joanne Poole Morris of Hawkinsville, Ga.Sons; Alfred G. Morris Jr. of Hawkinsville, Ga. Carl Dwayne Morris of Atlanta, Ga. and Joseph Boyd (Monica) Morris of Hawkinsville, Ga.Daughter; Delia Joanne Morris Braswell (Trey) of Soperton, Ga., Brothers;James B. (Elizabeth) Morris of Athens, Ga. and Bunyan Morris of Statesboro, Ga. . Four Grandchildren;Amanda and Taylor Morris of Hawkinsville Ga. and Brooklyn and Sophia Braswell of Soperton, Ga.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. before the service begins in the chapel.
