Alice Loraine Lancaster

April 4, 1927 — October 20, 2012

Alice Lancaster, 85, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Bryant Nursing Home in Cochran, Georgia. Mrs. Lancaster was married to Mr. Keith Lancaster and died on their 67th wedding anniversary. She was a native of Lake Orion, Michigan but spent several years in Florida before eventually settling in Hawkinsville. All services to be held will be private.
Alice was a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church and truly enjoyed living the last twelve years in Hawkinsville. She was a retired secretary for the Rochester School Systems in Michigan. She was a life member of MARPS and enjoyed traveling, cruising and all of her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Keith Lancaster of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Jay Kent (Jean) Lancaster; grandchildren, Chris (Nancy) Lancaster and Mike (Crystal) Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Candace Lancaster, Kelly Lancaster, Riska Lancaster, Jeremiah Lancaster and Juanita Lancaster. She is also survived by her nieces, Darlene Bates of Rochester, Michigan and Melanie Rice of Orlando, Florida.
