Allene Davis Simmons

Mrs. Allene Davis Simmons, age 93, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at her residence.   A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00 in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Robert Lancaster and Ernest Holmes officiating. A Visitation will be held Starting at 10:00 am prior to the service.

Mrs. Simmons was a native of Pulaski County, Georgia and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Murdock and Docia Pearl Norsworthy Davis; husband, John Grover Simmons; daughter, Judy Simmons; son, John Simmons; brothers, Francis Davis and Maceo Bud Davis; sisters Vester Lister and Patsy Ann Davis,

Survivors include her daughter Paula Cook (Greg); sister Betty Jo McCarthy; Nephew Paul McCarthy (Giselle); Grandchildren, Billy Hood (Shanna), Casey Hood and Amory Cook; great grandchildren, Ethan Hood and special Caregivers Jackie Fields and Ella Ivey.

Flowers accepted or contributions to Corinth Baptist Church.
