Alton W. Borum, 69, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012to be with his Lord.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Orange Hill Cemetery with Rev. Eldridge Bowen officiating.
Mr. Borum was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Hartford Baptist Church.He was a retired sheet metal operator for Blue Bird Body Company. Alton was an avid fisherman and hunter.He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Dan and Rebecca Borum and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three daughters; Susan Holloman (Donald) of Byron, Ga., Alain Posey of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Jackie Meeks (John) of Byron, Ga. and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home Chapel.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
