Andrew Dewey Jenkins

Mr. Andrew Dewey Jenkins, 64, of Hawkinsville Ga., passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at his residence in Abbeville.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2023 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Micah Emery officiating.

Mr. Jenkins was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Westview Baptist Church.  He was a 1976 graduate of Hawkinsville High School, where he was awarded the John Phillip Souza Award.  Andrew loved music and woodworking and playing the trumpet and guitar.  He was self-employed in construction.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Jenkins, Jr. and mother, Mary Estelle Flowers.

Survivors include his wife, April Jenkins of Abbeville, Ga.; son, Cal (Brandi) Fales of Bonaire, Ga.; sisters, Dorothy Smith, Barbara Semmler (Gordon) of Georgia, Virginia Hodges (Clark) of Statesboro, Georgia; grandchildren, Baylor Fales and Collins Fales.
