Mary Ann Sikes Thompson, 69, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev. Tracy Mays officiating.Burial will be in the Pulaski - Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Baxley, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.She was a retired secretary having worked for Leshner Mills and United Hospice.Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Sikes Shelton of North Carolina and parents, William Clifford and Jessie Mae Sikes.
Survivors include her husband, James Coleman Thompson of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Deborah (Elton) Reneau of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother, Robert Sikes of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Barbara Sikes Bumpus of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Kelli McDaniel, Kristin McDaniel, Matthew McDaniel and Christian Reneau.
Pallbearers will be Tony Yearty, Rodney Holland, Robbie Holland, Ken Mobley, Cliff Bush and Chuck Gordon.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
