Mrs. Annette Gatlin Johnson, 87, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Sunday, January 12, 2019 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Ga.A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Hawkinsville First Baptist Church, Saturday, January 25, 2019 at 11 a.m. with visitation to begin at 10 a.m. until the service begins.Rev. Don McClung will officiate.Burial will be in Harrell Cemetery in Pulaski County, Ga.
Mrs. Johnson was a native Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Hawkinsville First Baptist Church.She was a member ofthe NationalAssociation of Federal Employees (NARFE) and Taylor Regional Auxiliary Pink Ladies for over 25 years.She was a switchboard operator for Taylor Memorial Hospital and an LPN.Annette was also an inactive member of United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) and Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Johnson; parents, Lewis and Annie Gatlin; brothers, Leroy Gatlin, Wilton Gatlin and sister, Frances Gatlin Mayo.
Survivors include nephews; John Gatlin of Russellville, Kentucky; Rick Gatlin of Winter Springs, Florida; Ray Mayo and Bill Mayo, both of Hawkinsville, Ga., 1 step-daughter, Margaret (Hal) Trammell of St. Simons, Ga.; 2 step-grandchildren, Hal Trammell, Jr., Katherine (Hugo) Perez of St. Simons, Ga. and 3 step-great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Pink Ladies and the Fellowship Sunday School class.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hawkinsville First Baptist Church.
