Annie Mae Darsey

Annie Mae Babb Darsey, age 93, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Southern Pines Retirement Home in Hawkinsville, Ga.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Steve McKuhen and Rev. Bryan Bentley officiating.  A Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm on Tuesday Evening 6/18/2024 in Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery.

Annie Mae was a native of Telfair County and a member of New Vision Ministries Church.  She was retired from the sewing room at Leshner Mills.  She was a member of the Pink Ladies at Taylor Regional Hospital and Women Ministries at the New Vision Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. C.C. and Nancy Bridges Babb and her husband Malan Darsey; brothers James Eddie Babb, Leroy Babb, Aaron Babb and Carlton Babb; sisters Ocala Bridges and Betty Jean Laidler.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Malan Darsey (Marie); daughter, Carol Darsey Cowan (Arnold); three grandchildren, Lucas Cowan (Chandler), Matthew Cowan and Annie Cowan; and two great-grandchildren, Beckham Lee Cowan and Lane Benjamin Cowan.

Flowers accepted or donations made to New Vision Ministries Church.
