Arch Cryer Mooney
July 11, 1930 — October 26, 2016
Mr. Mooney was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of the Baptist faith.He was a retired Chief Engineer from the Merchant Marines and a member of the 357th Fighter Group.Arch was a former Nascar mechanic with Paul McDuffie.He was preceded in death by his father, W. H. Mooney; mother, Elizabeth Langdon Mooney; sister, Beth Turner; daughter, Helen Mooney and brother, W. H. Billy Mooney, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Veronica R. Mooney of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Laura Mooney; niece and nephew, Elizabeth Turner and Tommy Turner.He was life time friends of Bobbie and Tommy Hogg and their children Ann (David) Mullis, Tom (Pam) Hogg, Amy Harvey and their children Deidra Davis (Rodney), Lauren Herman (Casey), John Harvey, Samantha Hogg and William Harvey.
Visitation will be from 10 a. m. to 11 a.m. Saturday morning before the service.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Fullington Academy, Pinehurst, Ga. or Crisp Regional Hospital Foundation.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
