Archie Ivan Shelton

Mr. Archie Ivan Shelton, 76, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Drew Richey officiating.  Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. before the service begins.  Burial will be in Browndale Cemetery.

Mr. Shelton was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of County Line Baptist Church.  Archie was a general mechanic and cotton ginner.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching old westerns and especially loving his grandchildren.  He was preceded by his parents and sisters, Mildred Darsey and Madge Coley.

Survivors include his wife, Louise English Shelton of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughters, Sue Dawson (Danny), Pattie Seagraves (Bruce), all of Hawkinsville Ga.; brother, Edwin Shelton (Shirley); sisters, Lillian Snyder, Edith Castleberry, Lucille Youngblood; grandchildren, Shantel Bryant (James), Brett Seagraves (Katelyn), Brandon Seagraves, Danyelle Dawson and great-grandchildren, Macy McIntyre and Emery Thomas.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
