Audrey Phyllis Proffitt

Audrey Phyllis Proffitt, age 75, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on December 2, 2023 at Pinewood Manor in Hawkinsville Ga.  Graveside memorial services will be held at Orange Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11a.m. with Len Robertson officiating.

Phyllis was born on April 15, 1948, in Wilcox County and was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.  She worked at Leshner Mills and Rite Aid Stores.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Odessa McDuffie Proffitt; husband, George Benjamin Carroll; brother, Robert Proffitt; grandson, Benjamin Phyllip Floyd.

Those left to forever cherish her memory include her daughters, Shannon (Guy) Easterling, Angelia (Jamie) Floyd and Sassy Frass Carroll; brothers, Ray (Elizabeth) Proffitt, Kenneth (Debra) Proffitt, Johnny Proffitt and Eugene Proffitt; sister, Sharyon (Seth) Schwartz; grandchild, Samantha (Dustin) Morgan; great grandchild, Charlie Marie Howell.
