Augustus Duane Britt

Mr. Augustus Duane Britt, 80, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 in Crawfordville, Florida.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Haynesville First Baptist Church with Rev. David Fisher officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. before the service.  Burial will be in Culloden City Cemetery in Culloden, Ga.

Mr. Britt was a native of Bibb County, Georgia and a member of Haynesville First Baptist Church.  He was a retired Delta Air Line Mechanic and a member of the Southeast Busnuts.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah Henry and Martha Rebecca Huguley Britt.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Britt of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Buster Britt (Phyllis); step-daughter, Kimberly Everette; brothers and sisters-in-law, J. T. Head and (Patsy), Sam Powell and (Mary).

Donations may be made to the Pulaski County Fire Department or the church of your choice.
