Barbara Miller Nesmith

Mrs. Barbara Miller NeSmith, age 72, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Alexander IV Living Facility in Macon, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 3p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Orange Hill Cemetery with Dr. Don McClung and Rev. Sam Tate officiating.

Bobbie was born on August 2, 1950 in Macon, Georgia. She was a member of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church and was retired from Hollingsworth & Vose where she was employed in Quality Control. She loved spending time with her family and especially loved her children and grandchildren. She was a fan of NASCAR and enjoyed cheering on Ward Burton and Jeff Burton. Barbara was a member of the CB Club in Hawkinsville for many years and enjoyed music by artists Van Morrison and Kane Brown. Her most favorite time of year was the Christmas season and she enjoyed decorating for the holidays. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anne Miller and her husband, James William NeSmith. She also loved her pets, Gracie and Opus.

Those left to forever cherish her memory include her daughters, Monica (Joey) Morris and Mandy (Michael) Scott; grandchildren, Will Scott, Reagan Scott, Amanda Katheryne (Chase) Iannuzzi and Taylor Morris.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church.
