Mrs. Beatrice Arnold Brown, 87, of Fitzgerald, Ga., formerly of Hawkinsville, Ga., died Sunday, July 20, 2014 in Fitzgerald, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Soper officiating.Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery and will be private for family only.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Dooly County, Ga. and a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church and the Lucille Adams Sunday School Class.She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base.Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Brown.She loved flower gardening.Mrs. Brown had lived in Fitzgerald, Ga. for the past year.
Survivors include one niece, Barbara (Johnny) Ashe of Abbeville, Ga.; one nephew, Carl (Mary) Wade of Fitzgerald, Ga. and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday before the service.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
