Benjamin Phyllip Floyd, 24, ofHawkinsville, Ga. passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Hawkinsville.A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Thomas and Rev. Billy Cox officiating.Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery in Hawkinsville, Ga.. Phyllip requests that casual attire be worn to the visitation and funeral service.
Phyllip was a native of Houston County, Ga. and a member of New Visions Ministry.He was a self-employed construction worker.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James "Rat" Floyd and Myrtice Floyd and Helen Googe; Uncle, Joey Williams.
Survivors include his mother, Jamie and Angi Floyd of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandfather, Ben Carroll of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandmother, Phyllis Proffitt of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sister, Samantha (Dustin) Morgan of Cochran, Ga.; aunt and uncle, Shannon and Dr. Guy Easterling of Hawkinsville, Ga.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
