Benny James Lamb, age 65, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at his residence. Memorial services will be held for Mr. Lamb on Thursday, April 7, 2016 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home at 3p.m. The family will greet friends and relatives from 1p.m. to 2:45p.m. prior to the memorial service.
Mr. Lamb was born in Jesup, Georgia and was employed for many years at Warner Robins Air Force Base as a painter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney James Lamb and Agnes Laotha Odom Lamb; son, Bobby James Lamb; daughter, Catherine "Serena" Lamb; grandson, Bradley James Lamb and sister, Rita Fay Lamb.
Benny is survived by his former spouse, Bonnie Lee Wade Lamb of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughter, Angela Lee Lamb Edwards of Hawkinsville, Georgia and sister, Linda "Gail" (James) Segars of of Florida. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Bryan James Edwards, Serenity Jade Edwards and Joseph Dee Edwards.
