Bernice Mays Bishop, 84, of Atlanta, Georgia died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at her residence.Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2013 in Orange Hill Cemetery in Hawkinsville, Ga. with Rev. William B. Glover officiating.
Mrs. Bishop was a native of Pulaski County, Georgia and a member of the Blue Springs Baptist Church.She was a retired executive secretary for Transamerica Insurance Company.
Survivors include two sons, David Bishop of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Mike (Mary Beth) Bishop of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Sharon Bishop McMullen of Meridian, Mississippi; 4 grandchildren, Brandon David Bishop, Rachel Bishop, Adrienne and Kate McMullen.
Flowers will be accepted, but donations may be made to the Blue Springs Baptist Church.
Visitation will be at Clark Funeral Home Tuesday from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. before the graveside service.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
