Betty Lucille Glenn Goodroe, age 80, of Hawkinsville, Georgia died Friday, February 19, 2016 at Taylor Regional Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Goodroe will be held at 3p.m. on February 21, 2016 at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30p.m. to 2:50p.m. prior to the service in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.
Mrs. Betty was born in Houston County on July 15, 1935 to Richard Glenn and Alma Glenn. She was a member of the Double Branch Freewill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Steve Goodroe, Sr.
She is survived by her sons, Mickey Shurling of Dodge County and Paul Steve Goodroe, Jr. of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughters, Liz Head of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Sharon Howard of Hawkinsville, Georgia. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
