Betty Jean Pittman Sanders, 72,of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Broad Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie Hogg, Rev. Blake Westbrook and Rev. Fred Parker officiating.Burial will be in the Dodge County Cemetery in Dodge County, Ga.
Mrs. Sanders was a native ofDodge County, Ga. and a member of the Assembly of God Church.She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband,Bob Sanders of Eastman, Ga.; sons, Wallace Sanders (Carol), of Jacksonville, Fla., Terry Sanders (Karen) of Perry, Ga., Tony Sanders (Sandy) of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters, Faye Owings (Robert) of Hawkinsville, Ga., Monica (Ray) Britt of Dodge County, Ga.; brother, Jessie Pittman (Bo) of Thomaston, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Haworth, Eric Bowden, Scott Harris, Hal Green, Bobby Kittle and Ronnie Crump.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted but donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Ga.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
