Betty J. Sanders, age 84 of Hawkinsville, passedaway Thursday, September 28, 2017 in the Medical Center NavicentHealth in Macon.A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 1st in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be held one hour before the service in the chapel. Reverend David Fisher will officiate.

Mrs. Sanders was born on June 9, 1933 in Crawfordville, Indiana.She was daughter of the late Johnny Simmons and Wealthy Wardlow Simmons.She was a homemaker and member of the Haynesville Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by a brother, David Simmons.

Survivors are:husband-Edgar Sanders of Hawkinsville, step-daughter-JaneeJohnson of Taladega, Alabama, and John Bean, Kathy Davis (Buddy), and Jeremy Michael (Tiffany) whom she raised as her own children and 5-grandchildren and 26-great-grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
