Bland S. McKinney of Pineview, Ga. passed away May 24, 2010 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Westview Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Rhodes and Rev. Micah Emery officiating.Burial will be in the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. McKinney was a native of Baker County, Ga. and a member of Westview Baptist Church of Hawkinsville.He was a long-time resident and farmer of Pulaski County.

Survivors include his wife, Liz Jump McKinney; son, Bland McKinney, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Gary Ballard and son, Kenneth McKinney.He is also survived by grandchildren, Keith and Caroyn Ballard, Ken (Lisa) McKinney, Kelsey Ballard, Carson McKinney and Colton McKinney and one great-granddaughter, Rebecca Ballard.Bland is further survived by one sister, Elise Moody and many nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces; mother-in-law Corine Strickland of Eastman, Ga.; step grandchildren, Steve Sanders and Trena Woodard, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Maudel McKinney and son, Mark McKinney.

Pallbearers will be Luke Bentley, William Bentley, Travis Bentley, Michael Meeks, Greg Smith and Al Moody.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
