Bob W. Bennett, Sr., age 79, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Friday, April 10, 2009 in the Regency Hospital in Macon, Ga.Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. N. B. Goss and Rev. Billy Cox officiating.Burial will be in the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Bleckley County.

Mr. Bennett was a native of Morgan County, Alabama, a member of Christian Friends Baptist Church in Hawkinsville and was self-employed as a Flea Market Dealer.

Survivors include his wife, Inez Bennett of Hawkinsville, Ga.; Children, Ronnie Bennett (Nancy) of Macon, Bob Bennett (Steve Conway) of Ft. Valley, Diane Caulfield (Thomas) of Ft. Valley, Ronnie Bennett (Ann) of Hawkinsville, Lynn Forlin (Donald) of Hawkinsville, Bob Bennett (Debbie) of Cordele, Paul Bennett (Kim) of Texas, Sandra Francis (Ronald) of Perry, Charles Hammonds (Annie Mae) of Hawkinsville, Johnny Hammonds (Ann) of Canton and Jeff Hammonds (Sherrie) of Pineview; Sisters, Elsie Hill of Alabama, Jane Hulett (Harold) of Alabama, Ola Parks of Florida, Joyce Watson (Bruce) of Florida, Betty Knight of Texas, Brothers; Bill Bennett (Martha) of Kentucky, Freeman Bennett (Wanda) of Alabama, Buel Bennett (Joyce) of Alabama, Luther Bennett (Massie) of Florida, 35 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Ranow, Jimbo Bennett, Ronnie Bennett, Greg Entrekin, Charlie Hammonds and Drew Hammonds.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday evening at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville is in charge of arrangements.
