Brandice was raised in Pulaski County, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sylvester, Ga.She received her B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and she was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority.Brandice also received a nursing degree and was a registered nurse at Tift Regional Hospital in Tifton, Ga.
Brandice was a remarkable wife, daughter, and friend. Her loving family members include her husband, William Jason Dupree of Sylvester; parents, Rodney and Gloria Dawson of Hawkinsville; brother, Paul (Rebecca) Dawson of Fitzgerald; sister, Jenna Dawson of Hawkinsville; father-in-law, Clabe Dupree of Fitzgerald; brothers and sisters in law, Will Cooper of Sylvester, Erin Willingham of Camilla, Brian Dupree of Sylvester, Katey Dupree of Macon; nephew, John Oliver Dawson of Fitzgerald; grandparents, Mrs. John Dawson, Sr. of Hawkinsville and the late John Dawson, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Daniel of Hawkinsville, Garland Dupree of Fitzgerald and Mary Bridges of Sylvester; aunts and uncles, John (Kay) Dawson, Jr., Gary (Susan) Dawson, Donnette (Gary) Blake, Angie (Tom) Rust of Pineview, Kathy Dawson (Jack) Rattray, Rose (Eddie) Rhodes of Hawkinsville, Priscilla (John) Harrington of Eastman, Hugh (Linda) Hudson of Albany, Andrea (Oma) Parnell of Conyers, Dawn (Danny) Stone of Fitzgerald; and her beloved dog, Oscar.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p. m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
