Mrs. Brenda Carol Elwell, age 71, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on September 26, 2021 at her residence. Celebration of life services will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jack Varnell officiating. Burial will be held in the family plot at 2pm at Roddy Cemetery in Dodge County. Brenda was born on July 23, 1950 to Frank and Sara Kirkpatrick. She was a native of Roddy, Georgia and a current member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church. She retired from DCI Logistics in Atlanta, Georgia where she was the President of Transportation. Mrs. Elwell was also the former President of the South Eastern Brokers Association. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Mathis Kirkpatrick.
Those left to forever cherish her memory include her husband, William Larry Elwell of Hawkinsville, Georgia; father, Frank Kirkpatrick of Hawkinsville, Georgia; sons, Brian (Katie) Elwell of Dacula, Georgia and Greg (Kim) Elwell of Canton, Georgia; brother, Dennis (Janet) Kirkpatrick of Cochran, Georgia; sister-in-law, Dodie Dickerson of Hawkinsville, Georgia; niece, Kylie (Doug) Wunsch of Warner Robins, Georgia; nephew, Heath (Tiffany) Kirkpatrick of Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Carson, Jack, Zoe, Kobe, Austin, Corey and Emily.
