Brenda Kay Woods

Mrs. Brenda Kay Floyd Woods, 69, of Hawkinsville, Ga., passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at her residence.  A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Orange Hill Cemetery with Dr. Don McClung officiating.

Mrs. Woods was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.  She was employed as an RN by Houston Medical Center for 18 years, along with being House Supervisor for many years.   Kay was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Woods and parents, Charles and Myrna Floyd.

She is survived by her husband, William Alan Woods; 2 aunts, Hilda Sutton and Betty Jo Barlow; cousins, Pam Higginbotham, Barbara Mullis, special friend, Jenny Brewer; special sister-in-law, Lisa Woods; several other cousins and other special nursing friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Hospice of your choice or the local Hawkinsville Animal shelter.
