Carlos Adkins

Mr. Adkins was born on October 12, 1937 in East Lynn, West Virginia. He was a member of the Baptist faith and had lived in Pineview, Georgia for the last 30 years. Carlos enjoyed Civil War history as well as golfing and bowling. He was a volunteer and transfer driver at Pineview Healthcare Center. Mr. Adkins was a retired Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force with over 20 years of service. He served in the Vietnam War during his time in the Air Force. Mr. Adkins was predeceased by his granddaughter, Mary S. Davidson.
Survivors include his wife, Mary J. Adkins of Pineview, Georgia; daughters, Sheila Y. (Tim Flint) McDuffie of Cocoa, Florida and Mary M. (David) Davidson of Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren, Jessica A. Davidson, Tristan N. (Kayla) McDuffie and Monica N. McDuffie. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, Brody S. Wadleigh, Landon J. Powers, Carter N. McDuffie and Noah Hodges.
