Mrs. Carol Elizabeth Avera Thompson. 63, of Pineview, Ga. passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Ga.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Blake Westbrook officiating.Burial will be in the Midway Independent Methodist Church Cemetery in Vienna, Ga.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Dooly County, Ga. and a member of the Midway Independent Methodist Church in Dooly County.She was a homemaker.Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Lassiter and Myrtis Christmas Avera; brothers, Milton Larry Avera and James Glenn Avera.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy E. Thompson of Pineview, Ga.; son, William David Thompson of Perry, Ga.; daughter, Connie Thompson Walker (Phil) of Perry, Ga.; 3 grandchildren, Emma Grace Walker, Jackson Eli Walker and Phillip Warren Walker, III.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
