Carolyn Wade Thompson, 76, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Friday, April 12, 2013 in the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. William Glover officiating.Burial will be in Friendship cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson was a native of Dooly County, Ga. and a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.She worked as an inspector for the USDA.Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Hoyt Thompson and a son, James Hoyt Thompson, Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Wisham (Chester) of Pooler, Ga.; sister, Gwendolyn Spillers of Macon, Ga.;granddaughter, Heather McGill (Jamie) of Newington, Ga.; great-granddaughter, Anna McGill of Newington, Ga. and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
