Charles C. Gatlin

Mr. Charles C. Gatlin, 88, of Dodge County, Georgia, passed away Thursday, September
28, 2023, at his residence. A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, October 1 st ,
2023, at Clark Funeral Home. Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Gatlin was a native of Dodge County and a member of Midway Baptist Church. He
was a retired Civil Service employee at Robins Air Force Base and a retired farmer. He loved
hunting, fishing, raising goats, and visiting with family and friends. Charles was preceded in
death by his parents, Jack Gatlin and Alma Jennings Gatlin; his wife, Ruby Moody Gatlin;
special aunt, Emma Gatlin; sister, Flora Lee Stiles; and brother, William Terry “Buddy” Gatlin.

Survivors include his son, Jack Gatlin; daughters, Lisa Gatlin, Leigh Ann Kelly, and
Larae Gatlin Mullis (John Schlicher); brother, Gary J. Woods (Dorothy); sister-in-Law, Edna
Moody Broxson; grandchildren, Andrew Kelly, Colin Gatlin Mullis, Laura Leigh Kirk, Austin
Kelly, and Eric Mullis; great grandchildren, Wynter Leigh Kirk and Saydie Ann Kirk; and
special niece, Terri Stork (Jay), and many other nieces and nephews.
