Claire Joyce Mixon Floyd, age 70, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away on August 30, 2015 at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia. Visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Floyd will be at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2p.m. with Rev. Emory Howell officiating. Burial will be at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Cochran, Georgia.
Claire was born in Pulaski County Georgia and was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville. She was a retired officer manager for Dr. Keith Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth T. Floyd of Hawkinsville, Ga; son, Keith Floyd (Christina) of Hawkinsville,Ga; daughters, Sandra Horton of Hawkinsville, Ga and Judy Eagerton of Elko, Ga; brother, Johnny Bryant of Baxley, Ga; uncle, Dewey Mixon of Pineview, Ga; grandchildren, Jamie Horton, Heather McCullough, Hope Stone, Ty Bennett and Jordyn Floyd; great-grandchildren, Alisha Kersey, Michael Kersey and Aiden McCullough.
