Dale Baker Payne, 63, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, died Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, at the First United Methodist Church in Hawkinsville. Reverend John Walker will officiate.
Mrs. Payne was a native of Decatur, Georgia, but moved to Hawkinsville in 1964.She was a long-time employee of the Hawkinsville Dispatch & News working in the graphic design department.She was preceded in death by her father, Walter E. Baker, Jr., and her brother, Tom Baker.
Survivors include her son, Richard Lee Huguley of Friendsville, Tennessee; three daughters, Brandie Karen Dale Huguley of West Palm Beach, Florida; Elizabeth Ann Hawk of Atlanta, Georgia; and Jeri Lynn Hawk of Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandchildren; her mother, Nell T. Baker of Hawkinsville; brothers, Ernie Baker of Carrollton, Georgia; Jim Baker of Hawkinsville; and sister, Janelle Baker of Lexington, Kentucky.
Dale was loved by all that knew her.She was always willing to help anyone in need.
