David Lewis Williams, Sr. of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009.Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 at Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. L. T. Logue officiating.Burial will be at Carter Cemetery in Adrian, Ga.

David was a native ofLaurens County, Ga. He was an electrical worker for Conner's Heating and Air Service.David was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Blake Williams and grandparent, John Gailord Mimbs, Sr.

Mr. Williams leaves to cherish his memory his children, David Lewis Williams, Jr. of Cochran, Eunice Beth Ann Williams of Hawkinsville, Caitlin English Williams of Cochran, and John Wesley Williams of Hawkinsville; his parents, Hilder and Ruth Williams of Hawkinsville, Brother, John Robert Williams (Dot) of Dublin,; sister, Julie Williams of Hawkinsville; Grandparents, Julia R. Mimbs of Cochran, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Williams and several aunts, uncles and cousins; his life partner, Michelle English of Hawkinsville.; nieces and nephews, Harley Williams, Savanna Williams, Annie Grace Williams, Brittany Nowing, John Robert Williams, Jr., Jordan Thompson, Justine Williams and Jonathan Williams.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Strand, Zeake Cannon, Joe Strand, Lenny Douglas, Ramey Kemp and Deke Justice.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Elliott, Robert Conley, Clyde Dixon, Linton Dixon and Ken Mimbs.

The family requests contributions be made to the David Williams Memorial Fund, C/O Planters First of Hawkinsville, Ga.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
