Delmar Howard

Mr. Delmar Howard, age 81, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away in the early morning hours of September 23, 2022 at Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Mays officiating. The family will greet friends immediately before the service from 1p.m. to 2p.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Bleckley County. Delmar was born on April 8, 1941 to the late Louie and Jimmie Lee Howard Hawkinsville, Georgia. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the V.F.W. Mr. Howard was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville and was retired from Armstrong World Industries in Macon, Georgia. In his free time Delmar enjoyed stock car racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Jimmie Lee Horne Howard; sister, Ethel Laidler and his brother, Elmer Howard. Those left to forever cherish his memory include his wife, Barbara Howard of Hawkinsville, Georgia; son, Dennis (Wendy) Howard of Hawkinsville, Georgia; grandson, Ben Howard and several nieces and nephews. Clark Funeral Home has the privilege of being entrusted with arrangements.
