Delsa Taylor, 77, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Broad Street Baptist Church with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Lamont Bates officiating.Visitation will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at Clark Funeral Home from 6p.m.-8p.m.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Dodge County and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.She attended Broad Street Baptist Church and was a retired electronics technician at Warner Robins Air Force Base. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by a daughter, Deneice Taylor Graham; brothers and sisters, Leora Sands, Arvin Bates, Lavanda Jones, Arley Merle Bates, Rupert Bates and Emma Jean Kroesser; grandchildren, Eric Hair and Austin Hair.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Taylor Kirchman of Bonaire, Ga. and Lisa Taylor of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Phillip Howard Taylor of Hawkinsville, Ga.;and grandchildren, Erica Graham of Newberry, S.C., Kyle Taylor Kirchman of Columbia, S.C., Kelsley Taylor of Cochran, Ga, and Eric Taylor Hair of Hawkinsville, Ga; brothers, W.L. Bates of Cochran, Ga., Lamont Bates of Empire, Ga. and John Layton Bates of Dublin, Ga.; one sister Trenna Barrs of Cochran, Ga.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. in charge of arrangements.
