Derrell Olton Smith, 61, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died at his residence on June 28, 2010.Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Kelly Pritchett officiating.

Mr. Smith was a native of Houston County and a member of the Baptist faith.He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation.He was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey and Olton Smith.

Survivors include his sister, Judy (Kenneth) Mullis of Hawkinsville, Ga. niece, Kristin
(Clay) Mullis Holmes and nephew, Ken (Stephanie) Mullis, all of Hawkinsville, Ga.; aunt, Geraldine (Gary) Greer of Columbia, South Carolina and great nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the home of Judy and Kenneth Mullis; 26 Craftway Drive, Hawkinsville, Ga. 31036.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
