Donald A.B. Herring

Mr. Herring was a native of Enterprise, Alabama and a member of the Baptist faith.He was self-employed as the owner of A. B.'s Barbeque.Don was a former manager at the Opelika Manufacturing Co. in Hawkinsville, Ga. and was a former City Commissioner of Hawkinsville.He was preceded in death by his parents, A. B. and Annie Herring and a sister, Bobbie Herring.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Herring of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Jason Gregory Herring of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; daughters, Geri (Thomas) Huygen of Grove City, Ohio and Makenna (Jesse) Buffington of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brothers, William "Max" Herring of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Jerry (Janis) Herring of Daytona Beach, Florida; sisters, Lottie Marcella (Clyde) Hatten of Alabama, Barbara Herring of North Carolina and Millie Cotton of Phenix City, Alabama; 2 grandchildren, Natalie Huygen and Tristan Huygen.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
