Donna Lynn Gilbert Helm, age 56 of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away at her residence on Saturday, January 27, 2018. Memorial services for Mrs. Helm will be held at 3p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Kelly Pritchett officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 2p.m. to 2:45p.m. at Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Bleckley County.
Donna was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia on January 30, 1961. She was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Mrs. Helm was employed as a licensed practical nurse until she became disabled. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Gilbert.On March 2, 2018 her mother, Mrs. Sharon Gilbert passed away at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry , Georgia.
Survivors include her children, David Gilbert, Christopher Eugene Proffitt, Matthew Lee Proffitt, Chris (Jessica) Helm and Ashley (Anthony) Williams; father, Jimmy Gilbert of Hawkinsville, Georgia; husband, Butch Helm; brother, Dale (Darlene) Gilbert of Hawkinsville, Georgia; grandchildren, McKayla Proffitt, Taylor Gilbert, Hunter Helm, Caleb Helm, Landon Gilbert, Jada Helm, Harley Helm, Lacey Grimes, Morgan Williams and Haley Williams.
