Doris Ann Colson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Ann Colson. Doris passed away peacefully at her residence in Hawkinsville, Georgia on August 11, 2023. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, August 16th from 5pm to 7pm in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.

Doris was born on April 13, 1960 in Eastman, Georgia. She was a retired United States Army Veteran and later served in the Army National Guard. Ms. Colson was a member of Beta Sigma Phi - Alpha Nu Chapter. Those left to forever cherish her memory include her daughter, Loreal Thornton (Ricardo); brothers, Robert Allen (Leila) and Calvin Colson; sisters, Carolyn Colson (Ernest Powell), Geraldine Colson and Flora Jean Bivins. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Chloe Thornton and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Clark Funeral Home has the privilege of being entrusted with arrangements.
