Dorothy Lee, 78, of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida passed away August 16, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, August 20, 2016 with Dr. Kelly Pritchett officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11a.m. to 12:45p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
She was born in Perry, Georgia, the daughter of the late Grover and Doris Walton, and the sister of the late Jimmy Walton. She attended Perry High School and Mercer University. She married the love of her life, Jim Lee, of Hawkinsville, Georgia. They were married for 60 years. They lived in Hawkinsville and Lake Blackshear in Crisp County before retiring to Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed the beach, cruising and interior decorating, but most of all, her return visits to Georgia to visit with family. She was better known to her family as "Mama Dot" or "Dot-Dot".
She is survived by her husband, Jim Lee; son, Jimbo Lee (Regina) of Stockbridge, Georgia; her daughter, Cathy Harrison (Guy) of Warner Robins, Georgia and brother, Larry Walton of Perry, Georgia. She had five grandchildren: April Swanner, Crystal Perez, Kevin Lee, Jennifer Coln, and Stephanie Wright. She had five great grandchildren: Brooke, Trista, Nicholas, Roman and Saylor.
