Douglas "Boree" Watson

November 2, 1940 — June 29, 2020

Mr. Douglas Marion "Boree" Watson, 79, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Monday, June 29, 2020 in Summerhill Nursing Home in Perry, Ga. There are no services to be held at this time and no family visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Watson was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church. He was retired as a self-employed machinist, welder and Agri- Business owner. He was a Mason and a member of the NRA, Ducks Unlimited and the Turkey Federation. Boree was preceded in death by his parents, John Douglas and Callie Mae Mobley Watson and half-brother, Guy Plowden.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Cobb Watson of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughter, Rene' Watson Howard (John) of Roswell, Ga.; grandsons, J. D. Howard, Justin Howard and several nieces and nephews.
