Edward Siegfried Hermann, 87, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.Sunday, October 23, 2011 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. John Walker officiating.Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hermann was a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church.He was a retired U. S. postal employee and an army veteran of WWII.Edward was a Scout Master of Boy Scouts of America, Eagle Scout with two palms and a member of Order of the Arrow.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane Hermann of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sons, Ronald (Kathy) Hermann of Hatboro, Pennsylvania and Edward S. (Gail) Hermann of LaGrangeville, New York; daughters, Nancy (Scott) Wall of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Janice L. (Scott) Cressman of Quakertown, Pennsylvania; sister, Anna Marie Uhlig of Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Marshall Wall, Jr., John Wall, Scott Obert-Thorn, Michael Obert-Thorn, William Wood and Thomas Gibson.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. before the service.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
