Mr. McLendon was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member and deacon of County Line Baptist Church.He was a self-employed Heavy Equipment Operator.Edward was a Gideon and a Mason.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ancel Peyton McLendon and Addie Frances Wells; son, Terry McLendon; brother, Franklin McLendon and a sister, Louise Sorrows.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine McLendon of Hawkinsville, Ga.; son, Travis McLendon (Kim) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother, Peyton McLendon (Gen) of Milan, Ga.; sisters, Sudie Perdue of Gainesville, Ga., Hilda Hendricks (Mark) of Duluth, Ga.; 2 grandchildren, Dustin McLendon (Macy) of Perry, Ga., Conner McLendon of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 1 great-grandchild, Brantley Edward (on the way).
