Elaine Shelton Dent

Mrs. Dent was a native of Washington, Georgia and a member of the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being a member of the Women's Club at church and loved spending time with her son's and granddaughter's. Survivors include her husband, Bill Dent of Hawkinsville; sons, Joseph H. Dent (Linda) of Warner Robins, Georgia and Gary H. Dent, M.D. (Ann) of Baxley, Georgia; sisters, Linda Nichols (George) of Thomson, Georgia, Susan Montgomery (Jaffery) of Norwood, Georgia and Brenda Reed (Dale) of Mitchell, Georgia; granddaughters, Katherine Dent and Caroline Dent of Baxley, Georgia.
Visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 434, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036 or to the Shepard Center Spinal Foundation, 2020 Peachtree NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30309.
