Eldon Ernest Koehn, age 74, of Hawkinsville, Georgia died on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia. Services for Mr. Koehn will be held at 2p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Freddie Rhodes officiating.The family will greet friends prior to the service at Clark Funeral Home from 1p.m. to 1:45p.m.
Eldon was born on June 14, 1943 to the late Eldon and Hazel Koehn in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was a Christian of the Baptist faith and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a pilot, flight engineer and instructor having worked for many commercial airlines including Saudi Arabian Airlines, Tower Air and Polar Air.
Those left to forever cherish his memory include his wife, Betty J. Koehn of Hawkinsville, Georgia ; sons, Keith Gilmer of Phenix City, Alabama, Mitchell "Butch" Gilmer of Attalla, Alabama, Karl Koehn of Colorado and Paul Koehn of Colorado; daughters, Kay Connell of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Heather Norton of Colorado; brother, Paul Koehn of Oklahoma and six grandchildren.
