Mrs. Emmie Odone Bowen Hill, age 86, of Conyers, Georgia passed away on February 23, 2015 at Riverside Healthcare in Covington, Georgia. Funeral services for Mrs. Hill will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11a.m. with Reverend Dr. Gary L. Abbott, Sr.and Dr. Don McClung officiating. Visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Burial will follow the funeral service at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Cochran, Georgia.
She was a native of Dooly County and a member of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Hill was a retired secretary for the Hawkinsville Coca-Cola Bottling Co. and also a teller at Planters First Bank in Hawkinsville. She was also a member of the Business & Professional Women and was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Whitney Hill.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her son, Sammy Hill of Conyers, Georgia; grandchildren, Kristi (John) Carter of Conyers, Georgia, Kim (Todd) Ramsey of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Shawn (Jessica) Hill of Snellville, Georgia and Brett (Carrie) Hill of Easton, Maryland. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
