Etta S. King, 79, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, September 11, 2010 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home withDr. Kelly Pritchett officiating.Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. King was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of the First United Methodist Church .She was a retired textile employee of Opelika Mfg. Co. and a lifetime member of the Hawkinsville Jaycettes.Etta was preceded in death by her husband Howard King.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda K. (Dan) English of Hawkinsville, Ga.; her son, Mike (Amelia) King of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Coody, Franklin Jones, Jamie (Courtney) King and Tyler King; 6 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Fred Clark, Buddy Mullis, Johnny Curry, Lynn Rickerson, Franklin Jones and Spenser Johnson.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
