Mrs. Evelyn C. Hood, 88, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Bryant Nursing Home in Cochran, Ga.Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Bluff Creek Cemetery in Pulaski County with Rev. Danny Allen officiating.

Mrs. Hood was a native of Eastman, Ga. and a member of the Christian Hill Freewill Baptist Church.She was a retired employee of L & H Shirt Factory.Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lamar Hood.

Survivors include sons, Sammy (Linda) Hood of Hawkinsville, Ga., Charles (Shirley C.) Hood of Cochran, Ga. and Larry (Shirley J.) Hood of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother, William Coody of Eastman, Ga.; sister, Barbara Bentley of Hawkinsville, Ga.; 5 granchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
